Metabolic diseases are a group of diseases in the course of which the metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates or fats is disturbed, which results in an excess or deficiency of specific chemical compounds in the body and has an effect on the patient's health. The causes of metabolic diseases can vary - from the wrong diet to genetic disorders.

In 2004 I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Jagiellonian University Medical College in Cracow. Currently he works at the Clinical Department of Endocrinology Clinic of the University Hospital in Cracow.
In 2010 I received a doctorate in medical science for my thesis entitled "Expression of markers of proliferation and angiogenesis in pituitary tumors".
In 2012 I was awarded the title of Internal Medicine Specialist.
My interests include comprehensive internal medicine, with particular emphasis on internal organs diseases, including thyroid diseases (also in pregnant women), pituitary and adrenal glands. He also performs ultrasound diagnostics of the thyroid gland with thin-needle aspiration biopsy of focal lesions.
I have been gaining my professional experience since 2006 at the Clinical Department of Endocrinology Clinic of the University Hospital in Cracow, 17 Kopernika Street, where I deal with diagnostics and treatment of patients with internal diseases, diabetology and endocrinology.
I perform ultrasound and thyroid biopsies in the Department of Endocrinology Clinic.
Since 2010 I have been employed at the Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Kraków Academy as an academic teacher.
