Łukasz Goliński

pulmonologist, internist

I was born in Krakow in 1979. Here I graduated from the primary school, high school and in 2005 I graduated from the medical faculty of the Jagiellonian University Medical College. During my studies I was a member of the Student Scientific Society at the John Paul II Cracow Specialist Hospital for Heart and Vascular Diseases. At the University Hospital in Krakow I had an internship, after which I decided to become a pulmonologist.

In 2006 I started working at the Pulmonology Department of the District Hospital in Proszowice. I finished specialization in internal diseases in 2012, and in lung diseases 4 years later. The branch of my specialization, which I mainly deal with, and in which I try to constantly develop, is the endoscopy of bronchial tree. I perform bronchoscopy, intrabronchial ultrasonography with the possibility of biopsy of lesions in the chest. In the past I used to be a brachytherapy of lung cancer in the Radiotherapy Department of the St. Luke Hospital in Tarnów, and currently I use my experience in this field in the Amethyst Radiotherapy Centre in Cracow.
